Sports Illustrated’s view of the Super Bowl
Sports Illustrated took 364 different photos of the Super Bowl, and stitched them together to make one enormous, pannable, zoomable photo of the game as it was being played. The 1,721-megapixel photo lets you see anyone, in any seat in the stadium. Fortunately the shots were taken during the third quarter (the process took 37 minutes), so there are no crying Patriots fans to be found. Yet.
It’s a pretty awesome project, and makes me even more jealous I didn’t get to go to the game.
